León agro-food producers showcase products in Gijón

The III León Products Fair has opened in Gijón, featuring 23 exhibitors from the province of León. Organized by the Diputación de León in collaboration with the Gijón City Council and the Casa de León in Asturias, the event aims to expand commercial opportunities for León's agri-food companies and strengthen their presence in the Asturian market.

The fair includes a diverse range of products, such as sweets, chocolates, honey, cheeses, dairy, meats, charcuterie, vegetable preserves, fruits, legumes, wines, and spirits. The program features technical presentations, guided tastings, and commercial tastings designed to facilitate direct contact between producers, the public, and hospitality professionals.

In addition to the food exhibition, the weekend festivities include the traditional Desfile de Pendones organized by the Casa de León in Asturias, featuring local groups and the Gijón Banda de Gaites Noega.
