León to host Centro Gaudí Madrid national conferences

The Centro Gaudí Madrid will hold its annual national conferences in León on October 16 and 17 as part of the Gaudí Year commemorations. The event will be hosted across three locations: the University of León, the Official College of Architects of León, and the Museo Casa Botines Gaudí.

The first day, Friday, October 16, is divided into two thematic blocks. The morning session, ‘Gaudí artist,’ will take place at the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters, focusing on the symbolic and plastic aspects of the Catalan creator's work. The afternoon session, ‘Gaudí architect,’ will be held at the College of Architects.

Saturday, October 17, will be centered at the Museo Casa Botines Gaudí. The program includes a lecture by art historian Antonio Sama, the presentation of the III Gaudí Research and Dissemination Award, and the II Antoni Gaudí Youth Audiovisual Creation Contest, which features short film screenings and awards.
