Spanish architectural commemorations and studies

Overview

Architectural commemorations and studies regarding Antoni Gaudí and other historical figures are being held across Spain.

In León, the Centro Gaudí Madrid scheduled national conferences for October 16 and 17 at the University of León, the Official College of Architects of León, and the Museo Casa Botines Gaudí. The program includes thematic sessions on Gaudí as an artist and architect, a lecture by Antonio Sama, and the presentation of research and audiovisual awards.

Further architectural events include the XXV Architecture Week in Seville, which focuses on Aníbal González and his influence on the city’s urban evolution. Additionally, architect Rodrigo Almonacid is set to present a book at the Casa Botines Museum on October 7, providing an architectural analysis of Gaudí’s works in the León region, specifically the Episcopal Palace of Astorga and Casa Botines.
