Leng Tch’e releases first new song in nearly a decade

Leng Tch’e grindcore Hammered Into Collapse Belgian metal Season of Mist

Belgian grindcore band Leng Tch’e has released “Hammered Into Collapse,” their first new song in nearly nine years. The track is the lead single from an upcoming two-song EP of the same name, which is scheduled for digital release on October 23 via Season of Mist.

The EP will also include a second track titled “Voided.” The title track was recorded at Hearse Studio with engineer Lander Cluyse and explores themes of cerebral hijack and the consequences of long-term denial. In contrast, “Voided” is described as moving from personal mental unravelling toward a more cosmic, apocalyptic scale.

The recording process involved mixing by Taylor Young at The Pit Recording Studio and mastering by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege. The band’s current lineup features vocalist Serge Kasongo, guitarist Jan Hallaert, drummer Olivier Coppens, and bassist/backing vocalist Nicolas Malfeyt.
