Lenny Kravitz joins Mattel’s Kenbassadors collection

Musician Lenny Kravitz has been immortalized as an articulated figure by Mattel as part of the exclusive Barbie Signature ‘Kenbassadors’ line. This collection honors influential personalities, and Kravitz is only the second man to receive this honor, following basketball star LeBron James.

The figure is designed to replicate Kravitz’s aesthetic from his ‘Blue Electric Light Tour,’ featuring a bronze mesh tank top, flared trousers, a studded belt, brown boots, and sunglasses. The doll includes highly detailed personal touches, such as his signature dreadlocks, a nose piercing, and accurate recreations of his tattoos, including a portrait of his late mother, Roxie Roker.

To celebrate the 65th anniversary of Ken, the collectible includes an exhibition stand and a certificate of authenticity. Kravitz described the experience as ‘surreal,’ noting that he never imagined becoming a doll during his childhood.
