Lenny Kravitz named Mattel Kenbassador

Mattel has named musician Lenny Kravitz as the second ‘Kenbassador’ in its Barbie Signature Kenbassadors collection. This initiative honors individuals who have made a significant impact on pop culture and fashion. Kravitz follows LeBron James, who was the first recipient of this distinction in 2025.

The release coincides with the 65th anniversary of the Ken character. The collectible figure is modeled after Kravitz’s aesthetic during his ‘Blue Electric Light Tour,’ featuring dreadlocks, a nose ring, and specific tattoos, including a portrait of his mother, Roxie Roker.

The doll is designed for collectors and includes an articulated body, an exhibition base, and a certificate of authenticity. His outfit recreates his stage style with a bronze mesh tank top, boot-cut jeans, a studded belt, boots, and sunglasses.
