Lenovo launches Legion Y700 gaming tablet with 5G, OLED, Snapdragon Gen 5
Lenovo is preparing to launch a new variant of its Legion Tab series, the Legion Y700 Infinite tablet, in the Chinese market. The device will be the first gaming tablet to offer built‑in 5G connectivity and is expected to feature an OLED display, marking a departure from the IPS panels used in earlier models.
Technical specifications revealed in a separate review show the tablet will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, paired with an 8.8‑inch 3K display running at 165 Hz and a touch‑sampling rate of 2640 Hz. Memory configurations range from 12 GB to 24 GB of LPDDR5T RAM and UFS 4.1 Pro storage, while a 9 000 mAh battery is cooled by a 17 353 mm² vapor‑chamber system. The tablet targets high‑performance mobile gaming and media consumption, though its global availability remains unclear.
