Lenovo unveils 5G‑enabled Legion Y700 tablet and high‑spec Legion R9000X laptop

Lenovo announced its new Legion Y700 Ultimate tablet, adding a 5G modem, dual‑SIM (physical and eSIM) support and an antenna design intended to prevent signal loss during mobile gaming. The 8.8‑inch device retains a 1904 × 3040‑pixel 165 Hz PureSight panel and is expected to use a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset with 12–24 GB LPDDR5 RAM and a 9 000 mAh battery, with a launch event slated for August.

The company also unveiled the Legion R9000X laptop, priced at 20 999 yuan (≈145 000 TL). It is powered by an AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 392 processor (12 cores, up to 5.0 GHz) and includes 64 GB of RAM, a 1 TB SSD and an integrated AMD Radeon 8060S GPU. The 15.3‑inch OLED screen offers a 1600 × 2560 resolution, 165 Hz refresh rate and 0.3 ms response time. Other specs include Wi‑Fi 7, a 100 W fast‑charge system, multiple USB4/USB‑C/USB‑A ports, HDMI and an SD‑card reader, and a weight of 1.55 kg.
