Leo Express launches full-night sleeper service from Frankfurt to Przemyśl

From 31 July 2024 Leo Express will operate its international Frankfurt–Prague–Przemyśl route entirely by train, ending a temporary bus replacement on the Polish section. The service adds Economy Sleeper couchette railcars equipped with air‑conditioning, Wi‑Fi and power sockets, offering mixed‑gender or women‑only compartments for one to four passengers. Fares start at €37.9 for a sleeper ticket, with breakfast included, while Economy Class tickets are available from €9.9 and Business Class from €24.9.

The train makes 16 stops in Poland, including Kraków, Rzeszów and the border town of Przemyśl, a key gateway to Ukraine. Leo Express CEO Peter Köhler said the new night link will "make travel easier for thousands of passengers and strengthen the link between western and eastern Europe." The introduction increases capacity by 32 seats and complies with the international RIC standard for cross‑border travel.
