The singer became emotional while discussing his past conflicts, following a viral incident at Parque O’Higgins where he directed insults toward his former bandmate, Alexítico.

Rey stated that his recent comments were a way to “desahogarme de alguien que me traicionó” (vent about someone who betrayed me), claiming he gave his talent and sincerity to the group only to be treated poorly upon his exit. He described facing significant professional hardships after leaving the band, including being blacklisted by producers and facing criticism regarding his capabilities.

This follows a statement from La Noche, which sought to distance the group from Rey’s remarks, stating they would not “amplificar el odio” (amplify hate) and requesting that the band not be linked to his public disputes. Rey concluded his broadcast by expressing gratitude to his followers, noting that his tears were also a sign of happiness for the support he has received.
