Leo Rey addresses ongoing conflict with Alexítico

Singer Leo Rey has addressed his ongoing conflict with former La Noche bandmate Alexis Morales, known as Alexítico, following a viral outburst during a performance at La Gran Fonda de Chile in Parque O’Higgins.

During an interview, Rey explained that his spontaneous remarks toward Alexítico were a reaction to the energy of the crowd. He stated that the rift between the musicians is permanent, noting, “It is a problem that we are never going to solve.”

The core of the dispute involves legal and financial disagreements regarding the partnership of La Noche, specifically concerning song authorship and rights. Rey expressed frustration that attempts to reclaim these rights have been unsuccessful. He further characterized the conflict as a matter of loyalty, suggesting that Alexítico’s current public scrutiny is “divine justice” or karma for past actions.
