Lesley Groff Accused by Epstein Survivors of Lying to Congress

In June 2024, Lesley Groff, the longtime aide to the late financier Jeffrey Epstein, testified before the House Oversight Committee, claiming she never met any of the girls who received massages for Epstein and that she had no knowledge of their ages or of any payments.

Six survivors interviewed by CNN – four on the record and two anonymously – say Groff’s account is false. They recount meeting her repeatedly at Epstein’s New York townhouse and other locations, noting that she verified their ages, handled passports and other ID documents, and delivered cash payments in long white envelopes.

Survivors quoted include Marina Lacerda, who said “She’s lying,” and Sharlene Rochard, who described multiple encounters with Groff. They also report that Groff arranged travel and collected money on Epstein’s behalf, contradicting her congressional testimony.

The Oversight Committee said it is reviewing Groff’s transcript against the evidence provided by the survivors. No criminal charges have been filed against Groff, and the Department of Justice has not indicated new prosecutions related to the Epstein case.
