Levica MP Amar Mecinovic joins ‘Conversations for the Future’ forum

Amar Mecinovic, a Member of Parliament for the Levica party, announced the party's participation in the ‘Conversations for the Future’ forum organized by the 12:05 platform. Mecinovic stated that Levica feels a responsibility to engage with various opposition elements to find common ground on essential state issues.

He criticized the current political landscape, citing a decline in living standards, economic hardship, excessive debt, corruption, and a lack of accountability among the leadership of both SDSM and VMRO-DPMNE. Mecinovic argued that the political focus should shift from discussing the past 35 years to planning for the next 35 years to ensure a viable future for upcoming generations.

Representing what he described as a new political generation, Mecinovic accused the right-wing VMRO-DPMNE government of working against the interests of workers and ordinary citizens by failing to increase the minimum wage and opposing unions.
