Levi's partners with Christelle Kocher for haute couture denim capsule in Paris

Levi's unveiled a ten‑silhouette capsule collection at the July Paris Haute Couture Week, created by designer Christelle Kocher, artistic director of Maison Lemarié. The collection reimagines iconic Levi's pieces – such as the 501 jean and Trucker jacket – using sculptural denim treatments, intricate pleats, feather and flower appliqués, lace, resin‑coated denim and leather embroidery.

Kocher said the project reflects her life between the United States and France and her desire to fuse American denim heritage with French craftsmanship. Levi's Europe marketing vice‑president Mathilde Vaucheret highlighted the collaboration as a milestone that brings the brand into new cultural territories in Europe, stressing the blend of Levi's century‑long history with contemporary Parisian couture.

The capsule aims to position Levi's within the haute couture arena, showcasing how denim can be transformed into evening‑wear‑level pieces through high‑fashion techniques.
