Lexus announces updates to LBX compact SUV

Lexus has announced a partial update to its LBX compact SUV, scheduled for release on November 3, 2026. The improvements focus on enhancing driving quality and standardizing equipment rather than significant aesthetic changes.

Key technical updates include increased body rigidity through changes to the center cross member thickness. Lexus also conducted chassis tuning at the Nürburgring in Germany, adjusting shock absorber valve characteristics and Electric Power Steering (EPS) controls to improve handling and ride comfort.

Standard equipment has been expanded to include a color head-up display and a drive recorder across all grades. Additionally, a new exterior color named ‘Sou’, which features blue highlights, has been added to the lineup.

Due to these enhancements, prices for all grades have increased by approximately 170,000 to 250,000 yen, with the new price range set between 4.45 million and 5.93 million yen.
