Lexus expands electric lineup and updates RX SUV

Lexus is expanding its electrified lineup with significant updates to its flagship models. In Vietnam, the brand has officially entered the electric vehicle market with the introduction of the eighth-generation Lexus ES. The lineup includes the all-electric ES 500e, priced at 2.94 billion VND, which features a 74 kWh battery, 338 horsepower, and an estimated range of 460 km per charge. The ES series also offers hybrid versions, including the ES 350h Premium and ES 350h Luxury.

Additionally, Lexus has announced updates to its best-selling RX SUV model. To optimize chassis stability and driving smoothness, engineers conducted testing at the Nürburgring circuit in Germany. The updated RX includes technical improvements such as infrared-blocking front window glass, an upgraded Brake Hold function with memory settings, digital rearview mirrors on specific trims, and standard front and rear dash cameras. While the updated RX has been announced for the Japanese market, a global release date has not yet been disclosed.
