Lexus Korea begins pre-orders for eighth-generation All-New ES

Lexus Korea has commenced pre-orders for the eighth-generation All-New ES, scheduled for official release in South Korea on October 13. The new lineup features nine different configurations, including four hybrid (HEV) trims and five battery electric vehicle (BEV) trims, marking the first time the ES series will offer pure electric models.

The BEV lineup consists of the front-wheel-drive ES 350e, which offers a driving range of 478km per charge, and the all-wheel-drive ES 500e, which utilizes the DIRECT4 drive system. The hybrid models feature a sixth-generation powertrain and include a new all-wheel-drive (AWD) option. Both powertrain types are built on the new GA-K platform designed for both electric and hybrid integration.

Pricing for the BEV lineup starts at 71.6 million KRW for the ES 350e Premium, while the hybrid lineup starts at 72.9 million KRW for the ES 350h Premium. To support sales, Lexus Korea is introducing the ‘Amazing Switch’ financial program, which guarantees a residual value of 50% to 60% after three years.
