Lexus launches new ES luxury sedan with hybrid and electric models

Japanese automaker Lexus introduced the next generation of its ES sedan, presenting a larger, futuristic design aimed at the premium market. The model family now includes a hybrid ES 350h for Europe and fully electric ES 350e and ES 500e variants with all‑wheel drive, fast charging from 10% to 80% in about 30 minutes, and an extended range.

Inside, the cabin offers business‑class comfort such as ventilated and massaging rear seats, a leg‑rest, and “hidden switches” that illuminate only after the vehicle starts. Ambient lighting provides 50 colour options, while a 12.3‑inch digital instrument cluster and 14‑inch infotainment screen deliver modern, intuitive controls. The new ES measures over 5.1 m in length, offering space comparable to higher‑class limousines.

Lexus positions the ES as a technology‑focused luxury sedan that blends quiet performance, advanced comfort features and eco‑friendly powertrains to compete with rivals such as BMW and Audi in the premium segment.
