Lexus updates RX and TX SUV lineups with new features
Lexus has introduced updates to its SUV lineup, specifically focusing on the RX and TX models.
In Taiwan, the updated Lexus RX is now available on the official website, maintaining four powertrain options across ten models. The new version includes the addition of the Dynamic Rear Steering (DRS) system and the Vehicle Dynamics Integrated Management (VDIM) system to two flagship hybrid models. This upgrade results in a price increase of 45,000 TWD for these specific trims. Additionally, the RX 350 F Sport now features red brake calipers to enhance its sporty appearance, while the price for this model remains unchanged.
For the 2027 Lexus TX, the manufacturer is simplifying the model range by discontinuing the TX 550h+ plug-in hybrid version. The lineup will now consist of the gasoline-powered TX 350 and the performance-oriented hybrid TX 500h. Other updates for the TX include cosmetic changes such as new 20-inch alloy wheel finishes for the TX 350 Premium, the return of Matador Red Mica as an exterior color option, and the availability of optional red brake calipers for F SPORT versions.
