Lexus launches new ES sedan and updates RX SUV lineup

Lexus is rolling out significant updates across its luxury lineup, most notably with the introduction of the eighth-generation ES sedan and refinements to the RX SUV.

The new Lexus ES features a dual powertrain strategy, offering both hybrid (HEV) and fully electric (BEV) options. The BEV version is the brand’s first pure electric sedan, while the HEV models utilize a 2.5-liter engine. The vehicle emphasizes high-tech interior features, including a 12.3-inch digital dashboard and a 14-inch multimedia screen, alongside aesthetic touches like bamboo layering.

Simultaneously, the Lexus RX has undergone chassis and performance tuning at the Nürburgring circuit in Germany to improve stability, ride comfort, and steering response. These updates aim to provide a more linear and natural driving experience. Additional technical enhancements for the RX include infrared-cut front door glass for heat reduction, upgraded brake hold memory functions, and the standardization of digital rearview mirrors and dashcams on several trims.
