L&F showcases NCM and LFP cathode technologies at DIFA 2026
L&F recently concluded its participation in the 2026 Daegu Future Mobility Expo (DIFA 2026) held at EXCO. Under the theme ‘Leading the Future,’ the company presented its technical capabilities in Nickel-Cobalt-Manganese (NCM) and Lithium-Iron-Phosphate (LFP) cathode materials.
A primary focus of the exhibition was L&F’s third-generation high-density LFP cathode material, which features a compressed density (PD) of over 2.5g/cc. This product aims to address the lower energy density typically associated with LFP materials while maintaining cost competitiveness. The company has established a production foundation through its subsidiary, L&F Plus, which began mass production with an annual capacity of 30,000 tons in the third quarter.
In addition to current products, L&F presented its research and development progress for next-generation materials, including those for sodium-ion batteries (SIB) and all-solid-state batteries (ASSB), alongside strategies for building non-China-centric supply chains. The company also conducted technical training sessions for local university students to support regional talent development.
