LG Electronics joins NVIDIA Partner Network for AI data center cooling
LG Electronics has been officially registered as a Preferred Partner in the ‘Power and Cooling’ sector of the NVIDIA Partner Network (NPN). This designation allows the company to provide cooling solutions to global customers building AI data centers and AI factories using NVIDIA technology.
LG Electronics has secured NVIDIA specification approvals for its Coolant Distribution Units (CDU) across multiple capacities, including 600kW and 1MW models. Additionally, its 2.5MW class CDU has been recognized as a ‘DSX Ready CDU,’ a certification for products meeting specific requirements for AI factory construction.
The company has developed a comprehensive ‘Chip to Chiller’ lineup, which includes chillers, CDUs, and cold plates designed to manage the high heat generated by AI server chipsets. LG Electronics intends to focus its expansion on the North American market, where more than 60% of new data center demand is concentrated, targeting hyperscalers and colocation markets.
Beyond thermal management, LG Electronics is also expanding its collaboration with NVIDIA in the fields of robotics and physical AI, utilizing NVIDIA’s platforms to advance its own robot development and digital twin technologies.
