LG Electronics retains global lead in OLED TV market as Samsung promotions boost sales in Brazil and Mexico
LG Electronics said it remained the world leader in OLED television shipments in 2025, according to market‑research firm Omdia. The company highlighted growth in global OLED shipments and noted strong positions in Brazil, Europe, North America and Asia‑Oceania, while unveiling its 2026 OLED evo lineup with brighter panels, the new Hyper‑Radiant colour system and an AI‑enhanced processor.
In Mexico, PcComponentes is offering the Samsung 50‑inch Crystal UHD U8000F model for about 309 euros, a discount of roughly 290 euros. The TV features HDR, PurColor, Contrast Enhancer, and AI‑driven audio technologies such as Q‑Symphony and Adaptive Sound, plus free access to Samsung TV Plus.
In Brazil, Samsung’s 2025 Neo QLED range (QN90F and QN70F) is on promotion with 43‑, 55‑ and 65‑inch versions. The mini‑LED panels deliver high brightness and deep blacks, while AI processing optimises both picture and sound. Retailers warn that stock is limited and prices may rise once inventory sells out.
