LG OLED C6 prices drop amid privacy concerns

LG OLED C6 televisions are seeing significant price reductions in Poland and the United States. In Poland, the 65-inch model has dropped by 2,000 PLN, while the 55-inch model has decreased by 2,000 PLN. In the US, the 65-inch variant has seen a price cut of approximately $1,100.

These discounts coincide with privacy concerns raised by the YouTube channel Gamers Nexus. An analysis suggested that LG televisions may record data related to sound and devices on home networks, even when the device is in standby mode. LG has denied allegations of continuous recording or transmitting conversations, stating that voice command processing only begins upon activation and that Automatic Content Recognition (ACR) is an optional feature that is disabled by default.
