LG UltraGear 1000Hz monitor set for Indonesia release

LG Electronics Indonesia has announced that the LG UltraGear 25G590B, the world's first monitor featuring a native 1000Hz refresh rate, is scheduled to arrive in Indonesia starting in September 2026.

The 24.5-inch monitor utilizes a Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, a standard size in the e-sports industry. Unlike other monitors that use dual-mode or overclocking to reach high speeds, this model features a native 1000Hz refresh rate, meaning the panel is designed to operate at this frequency stably to provide a new image every 1 millisecond.

Key technical features include Motion Blur Reduction Pro to maintain image clarity during fast movement and an IPS panel with an anti-glare coating. The device is aimed at competitive first-person shooter (FPS) players, such as those playing Counter-Strike 2 or Valorant, where high responsiveness and minimal input lag are critical for performance.
