1000 Hz esports monitor launches at ChinaJoy 2026

At the ChinaJoy expo in late July 2026, LG Electronics introduced its UltraGear 25G590B, a 24.5‑inch IPS gaming monitor with a native 1000 Hz refresh rate (over‑clockable to 1100 Hz) and a 1 ms gray‑to‑gray response. Priced at 7,999 CNY in China and $999.99 in the United States, the display requires DisplayPort 2.1, Windows 11 and a high‑end RTX‑50 or Radeon RX 9000‑series GPU to reach its top performance. LG also announced other monitor models, including the UltraGear 27GM950B 5K Mini‑LED and a discounted OLED QHD monitor.

A few days later, TCL Huaxing announced its entry into the professional esports display market, unveiling the LG UltraGear AI 24.5‑inch native 1080p 1000 Hz monitor – described as the world’s first “dual‑thousand” esports screen.
