LG launches UltraGear 25G590B 1000Hz gaming monitor at ChinaJoy
LG Electronics' UltraGear brand unveiled the 25G590B at the ChinaJoy expo on July 31. The 24.5‑inch IPS panel delivers a native 1000 Hz refresh rate at Full HD (1920×1080) and can be over‑clocked to 1100 Hz, with a 1 ms gray‑to‑gray response, HDR 400, 99 % DCI‑P3 coverage and AI‑driven display and audio engines. The monitor is priced at 7,999 CNY for the Chinese market and listed in the United States for $999.99, requiring DisplayPort 2.1, Windows 11 and a recent RTX‑50 or Radeon RX 9000‑series GPU to achieve the top refresh rate.
In the same period LG announced other monitor models. The UltraGear 27GM950B, a 27‑inch Mini‑LED 5K display with up to 165 Hz (or 330 Hz at WQHD), opened for pre‑order in the United States at $1,199.99 and is slated for shipment in early May 2026, with a German launch planned for July 2026. Additionally, the LG Ultragear OLED QHD 27‑inch monitor was discounted on Amazon to $399.99, $200 off its regular price, offering a 280 Hz refresh and 0.03 ms response time.
