Libr’Aria literary festival marks 18th anniversary in Albinea
The Libr’Aria festival in Albinea, Emilia‑Romagna, celebrates its 18th edition from 28 to 30 August, expanding from a small gathering to a major open‑air literary event. Organized by the municipality of Albinea and the Pablo Neruda library, the programme runs in the Frassini park and the civic library and features readings, author talks, illustration workshops, creative labs and evening performances.
Local officials Roberta Ibattici (mayor) and Giacomo Mazzali (culture assessor) opened the festival. Highlights include French illustrator Charles Dutertre presenting the character Lucilla Scintilla, editor Minibombo launching the opening session, and workshops led by Dario Pomodoro, Giuseppe Vitale, Ericavale Morello and the Equilibri staff, with a science‑focused lab by Luca Malagoli.
