Librino's MAGMA Museum unveils new ‘Pegaso’ art installation
A new contemporary art installation titled ‘La Porta di Pegaso’ (The Gate of Pegasus) is being unveiled at the MAGMA Museum in Librino. The work features ‘Pegaso – Il Cavallo alato’ (Pegasus – The Winged Horse), a sculpture by artist Antonello Bonanno Conti.
Donated to the community by the Fondazione Antonio Presti – Fiumara d’Arte as part of the Triennale della contemporaneità promoted by the Sicilian Region, the installation includes 5,000 terracotta artifacts. These pieces were created through a participatory process involving local schools, children, and mothers, capturing the thoughts, dreams, and desires of the Librino community.
The inauguration is scheduled for Tuesday, October 13, at the area in front of the Istituto comprensivo Campanella Sturzo.
