LIDL to anchor new Sigma Park shopping centre in Darłowo, Poland

LIDL will become a major tenant of the upcoming Sigma Park shopping centre in Darłowo, occupying more than 1,800 m². The centre, developed by Mallson Polska on a 5‑hectare site near the city centre and major road, is slated to open in the middle of next year. Mallson expects the presence of the well‑known grocery chain to draw shoppers from Darłowo and surrounding towns, as well as tourists visiting the nearby beaches.

Sigma Park will host around 20 retailers in its first phase, including Media Expert, CCC, Pepco and a drive‑through restaurant from an international operator. The project also plans spacious parking, a playground and event spaces for concerts and fairs, aiming to serve thousands of visitors.

The investment is backed by a special‑purpose vehicle led by Jerzy Olszewski, a businessman active in the Polish maritime tourism sector. The development is designed by ALFA Pracownia Projektowa and built by Przedsiębiorstwo Budowlane Paweł Ciastowicz.
