Lilian Carp: Military parade showed only a small part of National Army capabilities

Lilian Carp, president of the parliamentary commission for national security, defense, and public order, stated that the military equipment and weaponry displayed during the Independence Day parade in the country's central square represent only a “small part” of the National Army's actual capabilities.

Carp noted that the military parade served not only as a demonstration of technical equipment but also as evidence of the consolidation of state institutions. She emphasized that Moldova is a peaceful nation and expressed a desire for the country to be left to decide its own political and developmental path independently of Moscow.
