Lima Airport Partners revises transfer fee as Priority Pass adds fast‑track lane at Jorge Chávez

Lima Airport Partners (LAP) announced a reduction of the international transfer fee (TUUA) from US$10.05 to US$6.40 and plans to embed the charge in airline tickets. The move comes two days after the Association of Air Transport Companies (AETAI) asked the newly installed Peruvian government to eliminate the fee, which critics say harms the competitiveness of Jorge Chávez International Airport as a regional hub.

Separately, Priority Pass launched a Priority Lane at Jorge Chávez, offering an exclusive security‑screening lane for international passengers. The service, part of the program’s Fast Track expansion in Latin America, aims to cut wait times for frequent travelers, executives, families and tourists. According to Enrique Seminario, Commercial Market Director of Collinson International, the lane requires only a Priority Pass membership at the counter and does not need prior reservation. The airport handled over 25.5 million passengers in 2025.
