Liner secures 50 billion KRW in Series C funding for AI agent expansion
AI agent startup Liner has secured 50 billion KRW in a Series C funding round. The investment was led by LB Investment, with participation from existing shareholders such as Atinum Investment and CJ Investment. New investors include KDB Bank, Helios Private Equity, KB Securities, Daishin Securities, and Stick Ventures.
Liner reported high technical performance, scoring 95.3 on OpenAI’s SimpleQA Benchmark and outperforming GPT-4o in key components of its proprietary component-based search LLM. The company currently serves 14 million users across 220 countries and ranks 30th in global AI service traffic according to SimilarWeb.
The company has also expanded into the B2B sector by supplying its deep research-based AI search engine to HUMAIN ONE, an integrated platform for the Saudi Arabian state-owned AI company HUMAIN. Liner plans to use the new capital for R&D, infrastructure, global talent acquisition, and expanding its business model into the enterprise AI transformation market.
