Liner AI agent business expansion

AI agent startup Liner has focused on expanding its technological infrastructure and global market presence through strategic partnerships and significant capital investment.

Initially, Liner entered a partnership with semiconductor company Rebellions to develop an ‘AI full-stack solution.’ This collaboration aims to integrate Liner’s AI agent and search technologies with Rebellions’ Neural Processing Unit (NPU) infrastructure to provide a high-efficiency alternative to foreign-made GPUs. The initiative seeks to enhance data sovereignty and reduce costs for South Korean public and private sectors while targeting global markets, specifically the Middle East.

Subsequently, Liner secured 50 billion KRW in Series C funding, led by LB Investment with participation from several existing and new investors. The company reported high technical performance on benchmarks and noted its expansion into the B2B sector by supplying its AI search engine to the Saudi Arabian state-owned company HUMAIN. Liner intends to utilize the new funding for R&D, infrastructure, global talent acquisition, and expansion into the enterprise AI transformation market.
