LineUp uses AEQ Xpeak to link Brazil and US for FIFA World Cup 2026 broadcast

LineUp, the Brazilian distributor of AEQ, installed an intercom system based on AEQ’s Xpeak technology to support SBT’s coverage of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The network connects SBT’s headquarters in Brazil, field units in the United States, the International Broadcast Center in Dallas, and the broadcast partner NSports, using AEQ’s Virtual Matrix and Xpeak Virtual software, allowing continuous real‑time coordination across locations.

The solution integrates the existing DELEC intercom at the Brazilian site and RTS equipment in a mobile unit at Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field, demonstrating the ability to merge different intercom platforms into a single broadcast workflow.
