Lions Club and Italian Red Cross host first aid training in Santa Margherita di Belice

The Lions Club Sambuca Belice and the Italian Red Cross organized a community safety and prevention meeting titled ‘Viva Sofia: due mani per la vita’ in Santa Margherita di Belice.

The event provided practical training for managing daily emergencies, specifically demonstrating airway clearance maneuvers for both adults and children. The session emphasized the importance of timely first aid in cases of accidental choking or cardiac arrest. Led by medical professional Dr. Nino Ciancimino, the training covered the survival chain to provide citizens, including parents and teachers, with decisive skills for the initial minutes of an emergency.
