Lions Clubs launch advent calendars for charitable causes

Lions Clubs in Jülich and Hünfeld are releasing advent calendars to raise funds for local social and community projects.

The Lions Club Jülich Juliacum is celebrating its 20th year of this initiative. The calendar features an aerial view of the town's new marketplace and contains approximately 300 prizes, including vouchers and physical goods. Special grand prizes are scheduled for December 6 and December 24. Proceeds from the sale of the 3,000 available calendars are dedicated to supporting social projects.

In Hünfeld, the Lions Club is offering calendars featuring the Ilmesmühle as a motif. The initiative includes prizes valued at over 7,000 euros, provided by local businesses. All proceeds from the sales will benefit charitable activities and social projects within the Hünfeld region.
