Lisbon and Faro under yellow warning for strong winds

The Portuguese Institute for the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) has issued a yellow weather warning for the districts of Lisbon and Faro due to forecasted strong winds. The warning, which is the lowest level on a three-tier scale, remains in effect until 9:00 PM on Wednesday.

Forecasts indicate wind gusts could reach up to 75 kilometers per hour. In addition to the wind, the IPMA predicts partly cloudy or clear skies across mainland Portugal, with a decrease in maximum temperatures in the northern and central interior, as well as in the southern region. Minimum temperatures are expected to range between 12°C in Guarda and 20°C in Faro, while maximum temperatures are projected to vary between 23°C in Aveiro and 32°C in Évora.
