Weather warnings in Portugal

Overview

The Portuguese Institute for the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) issued a yellow weather warning for the districts of Lisbon and Faro. The warning, the lowest level on a three-tier scale, was set to remain in effect until 9:00 PM on Wednesday due to forecasted wind gusts that could reach up to 75 kilometers per hour.

Alongside the wind, forecasts predicted partly cloudy or clear skies across mainland Portugal. A decrease in maximum temperatures was expected in the northern, central interior, and southern regions, with temperatures ranging from a minimum of 12°C in Guarda to a maximum of 32°C in Évora.
