Literary book launches held in Campinas and Pelotas
Several literary events are taking place in Brazil. In Campinas, the Selo Editorial Capitolinas is hosting a collective launch for its first seven female authors at Livraria Leitura in Shopping Parque Dom Pedro. The event, themed ‘Escrever para permanecer’, aims to promote female voices in the literary market through works spanning poetry and prose. Participating authors include Sofia Finguermann, Maria Emanuelle Osório Prates, Célia Fuji, Mila Nascimento, Alexandra Chaves, Alessandra Collaço, and Salete Fernandes.
In Pelotas, architect and writer Flávio Kiefer is launching his book of chronicles, ‘Cidade Abstrata’, at Livraria Vanguarda. Published by Editora Libretos, the book compiles texts written over the last four years for the independent newspaper Matinal. The launch includes a discussion with visual artist and researcher Helene Sacco, exploring the intersection of architecture, literature, and urban perception.
