Lithuania offers 1.525 million EUR for agricultural consulting services

The Lithuanian Ministry of Agriculture has announced an application period throughout September for the ‘Consulting Services’ intervention measure, part of the 2023–2027 Strategic Plan for Agriculture and Rural Development.

A total of 1.525 million EUR has been allocated for this stage. The funding is divided into two regional tracks: 610,800 EUR is designated for projects in the capital region, while 914,200 EUR is allocated for the Central and Western Lithuania regions. The support intensity covers 100% of eligible costs, with a fixed rate of 58 EUR (excluding VAT) per consulting hour. Individual recipients can receive up to 2,000 EUR (excluding VAT) for a maximum of 34 consultations during the 2023–2027 period.

Eligible applicants include active farmers, forest managers, and entities planning to initiate innovative projects through European Innovation Partnerships (EIP). Priority is given to topics beneficial to the environment and climate, such as soil and water protection, organic matter accumulation, sustainable fertilizer and plant protection product use, and biodiversity conservation.
