Lithuania offers agricultural consulting subsidies

The Lithuanian Ministry of Agriculture has announced a call for applications for the ‘Consulting Services’ intervention measure under the 2023–2027 Strategic Plan for Agriculture and Rural Development. Applications will be accepted throughout September.

A total of 1.525 million EUR has been allocated for this stage. The funding is divided into two regional tracks: 610,800 EUR for projects in the capital region and 914,200 EUR for the Central and Western Lithuania regions. The support intensity covers 100% of eligible costs, with a fixed hourly rate of 58 EUR (excluding VAT). Individual recipients can receive up to 2,000 EUR (excluding VAT) for a maximum of 34 consultations during the 2023–2027 period.

Eligible applicants include active farmers, forest managers, and entities planning to initiate innovative projects through European Innovation Partnerships (EIP). Priority is given to topics beneficial to the environment and climate, such as soil and water protection, organic matter accumulation, sustainable fertilizer and plant protection use, nutrient balance, and carbon sequestration. Consulting also covers farm finance, business management, and biodiversity conservation.
