Lithuania opens agricultural investment grants through November 30

Lithuania has opened an application window for the “Investicijos į žemės ūkio valdas” (Investments in Agricultural Holdings) program, part of the 2023–2027 strategic plan for agricultural and rural development. Applications are being accepted until November 30.

Large-scale investment projects can receive grants of up to 1,000,000 EUR, or up to 2,000,000 EUR for recognized agricultural cooperatives. The funding is provided as non-repayable grants from the European Union and the Lithuanian state to modernize farms, increase competitiveness, and improve production efficiency. Eligible applicants include individuals and legal entities with a production standard value of at least 30,001 EUR. Supported sectors include livestock, horticulture, and various plant cultivation activities.

A simplified procedure is also available for specific crop growers, such as those producing cereals, oilseeds, and legumes, with grants of up to 80,000 EUR per project. This specific fund allocates 3.6 million EUR to help modernize equipment and support both production and primary processing of agricultural products.
