Lithuania sees return of summer heat and drier days

A warm air mass is moving into Lithuania, bringing daytime temperatures of 25‑30 °C across most of the country and 22‑24 °C along the Curonian Spit. Short, sometimes heavy rain showers with thunder, lightning and wind gusts of 15‑20 m s⁻¹ are expected, especially in western regions.

After Tuesday night the cloud cover will diminish, giving way to mostly clear skies. Temperatures will settle at a pleasant 22‑27 °C for the rest of the week, with an anticylonic high pressure system maintaining dry, sunny conditions and no further significant changes forecast through the weekend.
