Lithuania sees warmer, drier weather ahead as anticylone moves in

Meteorologist E. Latvėnaitė said that a high‑pressure anticylone will spread over the southern Baltic and Lithuania, bringing drier and calmer conditions after a series of rainy cyclones. The forecast predicts that Friday, July 24, will be warmer with intermittent showers and possible thunder, while Saturday, July 25, should be largely dry. Sunday, July 26, is expected to be rain‑free with temperatures rising to 23‑26 °C, and Monday, July 27, will see isolated rain in some western regions but remain warm overall.

The weather pattern shift follows cyclones named Cerry and Deborah, which have caused intermittent rain and thunderstorms earlier in the week. From Friday onward, the anticylone is set to dominate, delivering higher daytime temperatures and reduced precipitation across the country.
