Lithuania weather forecast predicts series of incoming cyclones
Lithuania is set to experience highly dynamic and changeable weather due to a series of approaching cyclones. The cyclone Sina is expected to reach the Baltic region, bringing rain and light thunderstorms. This will be followed by cyclone Tessa on Tuesday, September 1, which is projected to move quickly toward the northeast.
Forecasts for Tuesday indicate a cold atmospheric front passing through the country, resulting in rain and thunderstorms that may intensify in the afternoon. Some areas could experience small hail. Temperatures are expected to range between 18–23°C in most parts of the country, though western and northwestern regions will be cooler, with daytime highs of 18–20°C.
The remainder of the week will see a continuous succession of weather systems. Wednesday is expected to bring intermittent rain and thunderstorms, while Thursday may see drier conditions with temperatures between 19–22°C. By Friday and through the weekend, more intense rain and thunderstorms are anticipated, with daytime temperatures fluctuating between 17–22°C and gusty winds reaching up to 15–17 m/s along the coast.
