Lithuania weather forecast: variable conditions and cooling temperatures
Lithuania is experiencing variable autumn weather characterized by shifting precipitation and declining temperatures. Early in the week, conditions will fluctuate between rain and clear skies. Monday and Tuesday are expected to see periods of rain in eastern and central regions, while parts of the country will enjoy dry, sunny intervals.
By mid-week, a high-pressure system will bring more clouds but limited precipitation. However, Thursday is forecasted to be the most unsettled day, with rain expected across all twelve major cities. Following this period, temperatures are set to drop significantly. By the weekend and the beginning of November, daytime temperatures are expected to fall into single digits, with the coldest readings anticipated in Utena and Jonava.
Wind conditions will also vary, with gusts reaching up to 14–16 m/s near the coast and in western regions during certain periods. Coastal areas like Klaipėda will experience higher humidity and more frequent rainfall compared to the rest of the country.
