Lithuania weather forecast: warm weekend followed by rain

Lithuania is expected to experience a warm and mostly dry weekend before weather conditions shift. Friday will be sunny and dry, with temperatures ranging between 22 and 27 degrees Celsius, particularly warmer in central regions and Užnemunė.

Saturday will remain mostly clear and dry, with temperatures rising to between 25 and 30 degrees Celsius as heat continues to flow from the southwest. While clouds may increase, no significant rainfall is expected during the day.

On Sunday, a low-pressure system and a cold atmospheric front will move through the country. While the front is expected to be relatively inactive, brief showers and localized thunderstorms are possible. Temperatures will vary significantly by region: western areas may cool to 19–24 degrees Celsius, while eastern regions could reach up to 25–30 degrees Celsius.

By Monday, the warm air mass will retreat, leading to more widespread short-term rain and potential thunderstorms. Winds may strengthen, particularly along the coast, where gusts could reach 15–16 m/s.
