Lithuanian diesel price climbs 0.6% while gasoline falls 0.4%

Lithuania's energy agency reported that diesel prices at retail stations ranged from €1.80 to €2.09 per litre, with an average of €1.97 – up 0.6% from the previous day. The cheapest diesel was found at an Emsi station in Lazdijai region (€1.80) and the highest at two Circle K outlets (€2.09).

Gasoline prices varied between €1.64 and €1.92 per litre, averaging €1.77, a decline of 0.4% from Thursday. The lowest gasoline price was also at the Emsi station in Lazdijai (€1.64) and the highest at the Žibalas station in Jonava (€1.92). Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) rose 0.5% to an average €0.75, with prices between €0.66 and €0.89; the cheapest LPG was recorded at Madalva, Jozitos and Bonsa stations, while the most expensive were at Viada, Circle K and other outlets. Wholesale prices on July 23 were €1.64 for gasoline and €1.90 for diesel, and Brent crude settled at $100.69 per barrel on Thursday.
