Liverpool and Manchester United eye Borussia Dortmund midfielder Felix Nmecha

Liverpool and Manchester United are reportedly exploring opportunities to sign Borussia Dortmund midfielder Felix Nmecha. Liverpool has intensified contact with the player's representatives to position themselves for a potential future move, viewing the 26-year-old German international as a strategic alternative to other targets like Alex Scott or Lamine Camara.

While a transfer during the current winter window is unlikely as Dortmund is unwilling to lose a key player mid-season, Nmecha has a release clause that could become relevant in the future. Manchester United is also reportedly considering a winter approach to address their current squad needs, with some reports suggesting they have already initiated contact with the player's management.

Nmecha, a versatile box-to-box midfielder, has established himself as a consistent starter for Dortmund since joining from Wolfsburg in 2023. Although he has faced recent challenges with form, interest from Premier League clubs remains high due to his physical profile and technical ability.
